Pernix Values
This time, we got to talk about what assembles our company and what represents each individual that forms part of it. The values of the company are what defines how we work and how we like our environment to be. The following are the main values that conform Pernix.
To start with, we have Personal Responsibility. Each one of us is responsible of choosing, instigating, and causing our own actions, and since we cause our actions, we are responsible for them. If we made a bad choice, we do not blame others, instead we like to take full responsibility and focus on learning from what we did bad so the next time we face a similar situation, we know how to react to it in the best way possible.
Next we have Communication, that to me, is one of the most important values to have. Communication is key when working as a team, since it let other know what we can do better, also what we need to continue doing. Additionally, communication creates the balance on both brand engagement (how our organization approaches customers or prospects) and third-party endorsement (getting people to say good things about our company).
To continue, we have Technical Excellence. This, in my opinion is a requirement for good engineering. By excellence we mean be better than others and provide more than others expect. For technical excellence, continuous improvement is required as we need to continuously learn new skills, try out new approaches and focusing on enhancing the quality of our products not only as individuals but also as a team.
Leadership is what is next in the list of Pernix’s values. Leadership means we like to participate in the growth of others, also improve current things around the company. One of Pernix’s focus, is to form leaders that can see how things can be improved and move forward to a better vision. Leadership includes a wide variety of the previous values that define us such as communication, responsibility, continuous improvement and more.
Through learning, which is our next value, we focus on, as mentioned before, improve our set of development and soft skills. We like to innovate, participate, and share our knowledge.
To conclude, we have collaboration which is also one of the most important values for us. We believe in the power of working together, we support and encourage collaborations across teams to solve problems and work together through an idea and thinking to accomplish common goals.
The previous values are part of each member of Pernix and we experience them day to day through our work. These values are what conform us as a company and our path to follow.
